Reflection

Sports and leisure course was useful and it is developed our experience about the clubs and sports facilities in the UAE. This course was helpful because it's giving us confident about our self’s, and increase our communication knowledge whit different level of people.

I think sport and leisure course its giving us opportunity to increase our knowledge about different types of sports. Each group in our class was visited different club to show the students the benefit and the facilities of the club.   

In this course we are using a blogger website, that is a useful and easy way to save our work safe and it is organized and the input is clear and easy to teacher read it and find the document.  

The final project of this course helped us to compare the law before 30 years ago and the law nowadays, by recording the old man voice and writing down his citations around 500 words to explain the sports in his time and what things that still don't change and what things that are changing.

In conclusion, sport and leisure’s course was useful and helpful to know about the sports and the law of sports, also it is helping us to know a several clubs in our country and know about the facilities in these clubs. Also, we understand the law of the sport in the past and present by communicating with Old-man, who is contemporary the sport now and in the past. In the end we learn how to organize our work and post it in blogger clearly.

Soccer could be a fast–paced, competition with men, women, and kids. Its skilled leagues have gained innumerable fans round the world. It's thought of as a serious sport that's well-known and is widely competed in the major regions of the globe. I had done interviews with my father about the soccer in his time and what things that still don't change and what things that are changing. In the past the life was different than life now, before the people was traveled from place to another searched for food and for a good life. They were working in the sea; so they haven't had any enough time to join their sports.     

This generation should be known about last generation and my grandfather's life was different from my father's life and they had games related to them. Before in the gulf they bring the ball from limited places; from Al Bahrain, Qatar and some time from Dubai. They were playing football on the beach.

25 years ago, there were limited sport channels; Dubai sport, Abu Dhabi sport channel, Qatar and art channel, and they only showed important matches, and they saw the matches free on TV but nowadays you have to pay money to see a match. Before when you want to see a match in the stadium you don’t have to pay money to enter the stadium, but nowadays they pay money to get tickets to watch the match. Moreover, the fans were more than nowadays (in the Gulf).

My father was a player in Al Ain team and he said “when we were young the team give for each player apparel and shoe and 200 DHS every month” but nowadays everything is changing and the football has become a business; they play to get money and the bonuses are more than an engineer employee in ADNOC Company.

 Before referee was wearing black clothes, but nowadays the referee wears different colors. In the past the player can give the goalkeeper the ball with his head or leg or chest, but now the player can’t pass the ball back to the goalkeeper; they can only head it to him. The fans are different; before when they went to the stadium they felt enthusiasm and there was Intolerance, but nowadays the police organize the fans who enter the stadium and they post, the regulation and they determine the things that you can carry to stadiums to reduce the problems between fans. 

Each team consists of eleven team members, excluding substitutes. There are 3 types of footballers: striker, midfield and defenders, as well as the goalkeeper.

A football game is officiated by a referee, who has the total authority to enforce the Law of the sport. The referee is aided by 2 assistant referees and a fourth official who assists the referee and may replace if it’s required. The only things is change is the clothes of the referee and the offside law, before they do not have offside but new FIFA rule includes the offside.

Before they didn’t have a club to join to spend their time, and the life was difficult. But nowadays our government, they encourage the youth to join to the club and to participate in the different of sports competitions. In the past the government, they haven't had possibility to build clubs and stadiums. On the other hand, nowadays the media support and encouraging people and help them to enjoy their time. The soccer in the past was not very famous in the gulf because there are had less technology so they can’t see the match. But nowadays everything is easy and you can see the soccer match in your iPads. There are a very big difference between life in these days and life before 30 years ago.    

To sum up, the football (soccer) is quite different from 30 years ago and in this report I introduce my father's words. My father thought the soccer 30 years ago was more interesting than nowadays, and the way of play was different to today. In this report I introduce the main points of soccer and the differences between soccer now and before.

From ADMC College To Golden Gym

Golden Gym is located in Mohammed Ben Zayed city. It is on the mussafah road. It is around 20 minutes and 40km from HCT. Gloden Gym has many facilities and there are many activities there; we chose this place because it is near to our home and there is a people who's speaking English and we have to let people know more about Golden Gym.

How to be successful leader 

Leadership means to lead a group of people and guide them.The good leader is one who is able to pilot evolution of this organization. 

Why do they use leaders in sports? The answer is every team needs a leader to guide them and help to develop their skills. The leaders are exacting to raise the efficiency of their organization. Leader is not an easy job and if you want to be leader you have to be great, how? Every leader should have vision to succeed in this task and how this vision will work,also you should have good athletes is;where do they want to go after sport in future. In each institution and sport there are stakeholders;as we know the stakeholders is the third party a person or organization have interest in sport organization. Every successful leader has a strategy;it's a plan between coach and athletes. Changing management is key in conducting an organization.

The leader in my opinion is important element in the organization, He helps to organize the team and is working to develop the skills of players. If the team have a good leader it will brings lot of achievements. In this course i learnt more about leadership and how it is important to be a good leader to achieve your goals. There are many steps a leader should follow to succeed, and every coach or leader should have a vision to make this goals easy to achieve. Although, we can improve leaders and give them physical and moral motives to develop leader skills,also we have to give him best athletes to help the leader doing the task easily. We have to give the leader training courses abroad, and ask for deficiencies. To sum up, the leader is not an easy job , moreover, the leadership means to lead and guide athletes in a right direction.
